When scene actors are misaligned, there are many possible causes...
The scale of one or more actors does not match what the animation author intended
You are using a non-standard skeleton. Must be XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended
You're wearing non-standard heels
Poor animation or poor data setup in the SLAL pack for that scene. Maybe disable the scene in MCM
There's a conflict with RaceMenu High Heels listed here... Known Mod Conflicts
Each can often be compensated for using the Toys&Love Height features (see below)
As of Toys&Love V2.5, there is also the MCM - Scenes & Sounds tab - Scale Actors option
This is on by default and used by Love Scenes and custom scenes using Toys&Loves scene features.
[ON] Each actor's scale is normalized allowing for much better animation alignment.
- For SE/AE the player & NPCs are scaled
- For LE, only NPCs are scaled since scaling the player (best you use default scale) can cause CTD or flying actors
[OFF] No actors scaled
Numerous authors made animations for Loves Scenes and Custom Scenes. The Toys Team does not make them and cannot fix them. Most authors made their animations with these requirements:
default body scale (height) of 1.0
standard skeleton (XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended)
These limitations have nothing to do with Toys&Love. It's a Skyrim reality.
Most alignment issues are related to height (actor scale).
You can compensate for character height using the Toys&Love MCM - Scenes & Sounds Tab. Compensating 100% all the time is not possible.
MCM Height options do not work for most custom scenes. They do work for all Toys&Love Love Scenes
They adjust the player height, thus only scenes with the player participating
Heel height (if not stripped) is automatically adjusted in both standard and custom scenes. So you should only need to adjust for non-standard heels (low rider/extreme high)
You cannot compensate for non-standard skeletons. They are not supported. Some will cause CTD too.
